Pardus 21.3 Changelog
Pardus 21.3 is a minor version release. To observe the changes made, it is sufficent to keep your Pardus 21 system up-to-date.
Updates will come to your Pardus 21 system as a notification. You can update your system from the Updates menu of Pardus Software Center application.

The Main Changes
- Visual and functional improvments were made in Pardus Software Center application.
- Functional improvments were made in Pardus Software Center web page. (https://apps.pardus.org.tr)
- Visual and functional improvments were made in Pardus Live Installation tool.
- Functional improvments were made in Pardus Package Installer.
- The design of the winner of the Pardus 21 Background Design Competition has been set as the default wallpaper.
- The designs of the contestants who ranked as a result of the Pardus 21 Background Design Competition have been added to the wallpapers.
- Visual and functional improvments were made in Pardus Power Management application.
- Visual and functional improvments were made in Pardus Image Writer.
- Functional improvments were made in Pardus USB Formatter.
- Editing and new additions were made to the pre-defined Pardus icon theme used in Xfce and Gnome desktop environments.
- The uninstall application function has been added to the right-click action of the applications in the Gnome desktop environment dashboard. (Gnome-Pardus Software Center Integration)
- Some improvements have been made to the “sticky” notes application that comes installed by default in the Xfce desktop environment.
- The “gdebi” deb package installer application, which comes installed in the Xfce and Gnome desktop environment, has been removed.
- Contributed to “system-monitoring-center”, “synaptic”, “sticky”, “apt”, “gwakeonlan”, “xterm”, “gnome-packagekit”, “thunar” applications. (upstreamed)
- More than 50 new applications have been added to PardusSoftware Center. (https://apps.pardus.org.tr)
- External third-party applications in the reporisitory (Google Chrome, Discord, AnyDesk, TeamViewer, VS Code, Vivaldi, Brave, Opera, Ventoy, System Monitoring Center …) have been updated.
- The default web browser Firefox version has been upgraded to 91.11.
- The default video player VLC version has been upgraded to 3.0.17.
- The default image editing app “Drawing” has been updated the latest to the latest version.
- The default Network Manager app has been updated to the latest version.
- The Linux Kernel version has been upgraded to 5.10.0-16.
- Problems that occur in some services and applications due to Turkish characters in Debian-based distributions installed in Turkish have been fixed.
- Updates that containing more than 100 packages and patches were brought to the installed system.
- More than 1000 packeges have been updated in the repository.
