Pardus Strategic Partnership Criteria

Pardus Strategic Partnerships are categorized into three groups: Transformation, Solution, and Training Partnerships

  • Transformation Partnership covers the phases required for institutional Pardus migration, including Analysis, Proof of Concept, Pilot, and Deployment stages.
  • Solution Partnership refers to our partners who operate in a specific technology domain compatible with Pardus or in relation to an open-source product. For example, applications may be submitted for general areas such as Databases or Application Virtualization, as well as for specific products such as Zimbra or MariaDB. Even if a product itself is not open-source, it may still be considered within the scope of a Solution Partnership if it provides value in reducing platform dependencies.
  • Training Partnership represents companies with the capacity to provide training on various open-source technologies.

A single company may apply for partnerships in multiple categories. These criteria may evolve over time to become more restrictive and selective in parallel with the growth of the ecosystem. However, companies that fail to meet their expected responsibilities within a reasonable timeframe, or whose activities are found to be inconsistent with the interests of the Pardus project, may be removed from the partnership list regardless of the criteria they initially satisfied.

All partners are required to display the relevant Pardus partnership logos on appropriate sections of their corporate websites. During the application process, certain summary information must also be provided to enable the promotion of the company on the official Pardus website.

Other criteria are as follows:

    Solution Partnership

Companies must share information and relevant access links with us regarding the products or technologies in which they specialize.

    Training Partnership

For Training Partnerships, companies are required to share promotional and experience-related information along with the content of the training services they provide.

    Digital Transformation Partnership

Personnel certifications may include equivalent or expired certificates, which will also be accepted. Additionally, diplomas and Social Security Institution (SGK) records for these personnel must be provided. Information regarding LPI certification processes can be obtained, and exam applications submitted, via https://home.pearsonvue.com/lpi . Certificates from the four Linux training courses available at https://gelecegiyazanlar.turkcell.com.tr/konu/temel-linux will be considered equivalent to LPI 101.

    For Bronze-level Digital Transformation Partnership

At least 1 personnel with an LPI 101 certificate (or equivalent) is required.

    For Silver-level Digital Transformation Partnership

At least 1 personnel with an LPIC-1 certificate (or equivalent) is required.

    For Gold-level Digital Transformation Partnership

The company must have participated in at least one Pardus migration activity (analysis, pilot, proof of concept, desktop/server migration) in collaboration with the Pardus team.

The company must either meet the TSEK492 criteria or employ at least one personnel with an LPI-1 certificate and one personnel with an LPIC-2 certificate.

    Authorized User Application

An Authorized User is a designated employee of a company that has applied for and qualified for a partnership. The authorized user applies using an email address associated with the company domain to act as the company’s representative, enabling them to be recognized as an authorized contact at the Partner Support Desk and to receive support on behalf of the company.
