Pardus 17 sürümü öntanımlı olarak destek verilen XFCE masaüstü ortamına ek olarak DDE (Deepin Desktop Environment) masaüstü ortamını destekliyor. Görsel olarak daha çekici ve kullanıcı gereksinimlerini modern tasarımlarıyla karşılarken, son kullanıcının beğenisini hedeflemektedir.

Sistem gereksinimleri:

  • CPU (64bit mimari) -> En az: 1.0 Ghz, Tavsiye edilen: 2.0 Ghz+
  • RAM -> En az: 1024 MB, Tavsiye edilen: 2048 MB+
  • Gerekli Disk alanı -> En az: 10GB, Tavsiye edilen: 12GB+
  • En az 1024×768 çözünürlüğü destekleyebilen grafik işlemci

DDE’nin Pardus GNU/Linux’ a Entegrasyonu

Deepin Masaüstü Ortamı Pardus’a entegre edilirken kaynak kodları debian kararlı sürümü baz alınarak Qt 5.7.1 ve golang 1.7.4 gibi güncel kodlama ortamları kullanılarak derlenmiştir. Bu sayede Pardus resmi paket depolarında bulunan DDE artık debian kararlı sürüm tabanlı sistemlerde sorunsuzca kullanılabilecek.
